Building upon the basic VBxxx (VB1000, VB2000 and VB3000) Series
platform, the vbx (vb5, vb6, vb7 and vb8) represent our new platform of
24-bit Portable Predictive Maintenance data collector series offering extra
power and convenience of two and four channel capability. The two-channel
VB7 provides fast routine data collection with efficient dual-plane
balancing and all special troubleshooting techniques such as
coastdown/run-up, bump testing, cross-channel phase and longtime wave
recording. The 2-plane balancing feature allows quick diagnosis and
correction of Dynamic Imbalance, the most common form of imbalance found.
Combine this with the large display with dual cursors on spectral data on
site - the vb7 represents one of the best
value-for-money products available today.
 Included with
the vb7 is ASCENT level 2, the
latest AWARD winning generation vibration analysis software. Level 2
include a machine build Wizard with band parameter settings for a wide
range of machines following the TA (Technical Associates) monitoring chart.
This program enables you to program the instrument with up to 780 separate
machine files. A library of over 200 customizable parameter sets is
available enabling a vast array of measurement options. "The Bearing
Expert" is also part of this value-driven package. This bearing
database software enables extensive fault frequency identification for
rolling bearings.
The new vbSeries family now includes a model to suit every need, from
economical single-channel data collector to advanced four-channel analyzer
and balancer. Joining the previously-released vb7 vibration analyzer are
the vb5™, vb6™, vb8™, vbBalancer™ and vbBalancer+™ models. New features
offered by this range of instruments include true simultaneous four channel
recordings, 12 800 lines of resolution and triaxial recording capability.
Analyzer and data collector instruments also include an enhanced IP65 rated
case and come equipped with Commtest's revolutionary new 6Pack™ recording
system, allowing up to 12 measurements to be taken simultaneously across up
to two channels, dramatically reducing the time needed for data collection.

- vb8 data collector and analyzer. A four channel
analyzer and balancing instrument, triax. capable with 12 800 lines of
resolution and full balancing functions including 2 plane, 4 sensor
balancing.
- vb6 data collector. A four channel data collector with
12 800 lines of resolution, triax. capable.
- vb5 data collector. A single channel data collector
with 6400 lines of resolution. The model of choice for professionals
seeking the best value for money instrument on the market.
- vbBalancer+ imbalance correction instrument. An advanced four
channel balancer with 12 800 lines of resolution and 2 plane 4 sensor
capabilities.
- vbBalancer imbalance correction instrument. A dual channel
